Originally from Guatemala but now living in the US, Juan Pablo Guzman has lived among the indigenous Ixil people and is producing a documentary series about the Guatemalan genocide of the Ixil in the early 1980s. The documentary focuses on the brave resistance by the Ixil in the face of an American backed military force.
